why don’t you start by getting a job at a jewelry store. This way you can be immersed with all the lingo and learn right from the source. Some of the jewelry manufacturers offer training at their locations. And while you are working, take a class in the evening or weekends for jewelry design. Around here they have classes at the craft stores and the community colleges. Then once you get some inventory built up you can sell your stuff at local craft fairs and flea markets. And in the mean time, you can always be following all the fashion magazines for inspiration and keep sketching your ideas.
